serenity sunday

Participants experience guided meditation, sound healing, intuitive readings and sharing circles to help them connect with their innermost self and purpose. They can explore mindfulness and self-care as they broaden their recovery and spiritual communities.

SOUND HEALING

Restorative sessions led by local “singing bowl” artists who are in recovery. Sound healings are designed to help participants explore and connect new avenues of mental, physical and emotional healing through specific frequencies and tones.

POETRY WITH A PURPOSE

Guided workshops help participants learn to discuss and practice expressing emotions through poetry.

GUIDED BREATHWORK

Guided breathwork sessions led by certified professionals to help reduce tension and release negative thought patterns. These exercises result in feelings of deeper connection and relaxation, followed by a 30-minute discussion.

RHYTHMS OF RECOVERY

Welcoming sessions in which participants are encouraged to jam with others, learn new techniques for playing instruments or simply enjoy the time creating music and sober memories together.

JOURNALING YOUR JOURNEY

An hour-long workshop in which participants learn how the practice of putting pen to paper is as an effective, cathartic way to process emotions. Participants learn different methods of journaling to discover which one helps them stay present in their feelings while releasing emotions and narratives that no longer serve them.
